I don't know if I should ask but I'm going for it. Is the lawsuit even gotten started? I am so ready to work with' the new features, My brain span is getting shortter and shorter, To much longer and I;ll have forgotton what I'm worrying about.
Yes, Andy has answered the lawsuit, so I think they are waiting for a court date, or doing all the other pre trial stuff that happens in these things.
Andy is working on a new release, but he wants to make sure everything is perfect before he releases it. He did say in one of the webinars that it would be ready soon, but he wouldn't give a time frame, because he didn't want to be held to it, if something should go wrong.
For some reason I cannot get the webinars to display and play when I click on the links. I am using IE8 with Vista. But I learned that I can save the file (right click and choose "save as...") and watch it anytime I want once it is downloaded.
Just FYI for anyone else who might be having trouble.
thank you to all for the terrific webinars and support given by andy bryan and julie. And last but not least the great folk on this message board, dont you just love this place,it rocks for sure.
Okay is the webinar on AI ready yet??? I'm so sorry I missed it, and I'm chomping at the bit to be able to see the recording and learn more about the program.... Is it HERE YET???????????????????????????????
Just realized (while I was fighting biting my DH's head off for no apparent reason [on Father's Day, no less]) that my hormone levels are way off...having hot flashes and really bad mood swings. My deepest apologies for any and all offense given, it truly wasn't meant.
(Next time, remind me that Andy and Bryan should definitely know better than to give ANY sort of due date or timeline....) <;D [Look, me in a dunce cap]
Anyone else having trouble accessing it? When I right click to save it I get an error message that it "IE cannot download..." And I never have been able to click and play.
GrandmaTo5 - I would suggest downloading them to your computer first. Then you can watch them when ever you want and in bits and pieces. Once you download them, your windows software can tell you how long they are.
First these webinars are terrific and I find myself going back to them for a refresher..
May I be so bold as to make a suggestion....
Can we replace this "Sticky" with one that is closed that has one comment that is edited as new webinars are added. For example..
3/25/2010 - 1st webinar run by Andy (Import a coloring page and split it in to layers) 4/27/2010 - April webinar (Part 1) run by Julie (Converting file formats) 4/27/2010 - April webinar (Part 2) 5/4/2010 - 3rd webinar run by Julie (Make a cat from scratch using MTC) 5/18/2010 - 4th webinar run by Julie (Creating a Cutting file from a Stencil and Converting a PDF Template to a cutting file.) 6/9/2010 - Quick 2.3.0 intro by Andy 6/9/2010 - Basic Inkscape For Cutting Files (Part 1) 6/9/2010 - Basic Inkscape For Cutting Files (Part 2) 6/17/2010 - Adobe Illustrator Webinar by Tyler 6/23/2010 - What's new in Version 2.3.2 (Part 1) 6/23/2010 - What's new in Version 2.3.2 (Part 2)
then maybe some basic instructions on how to download it and what is required to view it for any new folks.
One last suggestion if I may... Create one more closed sticky that is modified depicting the upcoming webinar in the title with instructions on how to access it as a comment.
I know you want to minimize the number of "Sticky"s out there so this would be a net new of 1
The support you all provide for this product is unparalleled in the industry..
